We are seeking an experienced and motivated Security Project Lead to oversee field operations for commercial security system installations. This leadership role is ideal for a technician ready to take the next step in their career by managing installation teams, coordinating daily project activities, and ensuring the successful delivery of access control, CCTV, and integrated security solutions.
The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to quality while working closely with project managers, customers, and field technicians to deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and direct field technicians during commercial security system installations
- Coordinate daily work assignments, manpower, and project priorities to maintain schedules
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot access control, CCTV, and integrated security systems
- Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to ensure proper system implementation
- Ensure all installations meet company quality standards, customer expectations, and industry best practices
- Monitor project progress and communicate updates to project management
- Maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and installation records
- Oversee system testing, commissioning, and customer handoff activities
- Enforce safety procedures and maintain a productive work environment
- Serve as the primary field resource for technical support and problem resolution
- Experience leading commercial security system installations
- Strong background in access control, CCTV, and low-voltage systems
- Proven ability to coordinate technicians and manage field activities
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex security system issues
Ability to interpret blueprints, project drawings, and technical specifications - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer-facing abilities
- Experience with security system programming and commissioning
- Knowledge of low-voltage electrical systems and structured cabling
- Security industry certifications and manufacturer training
- Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment
- Proven ability to mentor, train, and develop junior technicians

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lebanon, IN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
