Security Technician

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Security Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will install, service, and troubleshoot commercial security systems, including access control, video surveillance (CCTV), and low-voltage infrastructure. You'll work alongside project leads, superintendents, and customers to deliver high-quality security solutions in commercial environments.

• Install, configure, and service commercial access control and CCTV systems
• Pull, terminate, label, and test low-voltage cabling
• Assist with system startup, programming, and commissioning activities
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues
• Read and interpret project drawings, specifications, and installation standards
• Complete project documentation, service reports, and testing records
• Ensure installations meet customer requirements and quality standards
• Maintain a safe, organized, and productive job site
• Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and fellow technicians to meet project deadlines

• Experience installing or servicing security systems, access control, or CCTV solutions
• Knowledge of low-voltage cabling installation and termination practices
• Ability to troubleshoot technical and mechanical issues in the field
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team environment
• Reliable attendance, punctuality, and professional work ethic

• Experience working on commercial construction sites
• Basic understanding of networking concepts, IP-based cameras, and connected devices
• Manufacturer certifications in security, access control, or video surveillance systems
• Experience with system commissioning and startup procedures

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lebanon, IN.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
