High Voltage Electrician

Lilly seeks a High Voltage Electrician to maintain and troubleshoot high-voltage power distribution in our Engineering, Maintenance & Asset Management group. You will ensure safe, reliable operation of switch gear, transformers, and critical systems supporting GMP pharmaceutical manufacturing. Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance, root-cause analysis, and strict adherence to NFPA 70E, LOTO, and Lilly safety standards. Collaborating across disciplines, you'll support continuous improvement, detailed documentation, and asset reliability in a patient-focused, highly regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair high-voltage distribution equipment, switch gear, and transformers
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize asset reliability
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and perform root-cause analysis on critical systems
• Apply and document NFPA 70
• E and Lockout/Tagout procedures for all work
• Support GMP-compliant documentation and change control for electrical systems
• Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance & Asset Management on projects and upgrades
• Interpret electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and equipment manuals
• Use test instruments to verify system integrity and power quality
• Participate in safety programs, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Provide technical support during outages, shutdowns, and capital projects
