Inventory Control Clerk II 2nd Shift

Job Overview

As an Inventory Coordinator at Caterpillar Logistics Services, you will perform all functions of a warehouse associate while reconciling inventory and receiving records, including on‑hand overages/underages, supplier discrepancies, location discrepancies, and receipt inaccuracies. You will also conduct systematic inventory moves and support continuous improvement initiatives.

• Operate specialized equipment such as Reach Trucks and Order Pickers.
• Maintain equipment‑specific efficiency targets.
• Inspect and utilize heavy equipment, including sit‑down forklift trucks, pallet jacks, and overhead hoists.
• Perform material handling and warehousing functions: order filling, processing, storing, picking of parts, materials, equipment, and supplies.
• Facilitate facility rearrangement to accommodate additional material receipts.
• Collaborate with supervisors and Team Leads to resolve location and inventory discrepancies.
• Conduct random and scheduled inventory and receipt audits.
• Train employees on processes as required.
• Work independently while fostering cooperative team relationships.
• Reconcile inventory control and receipt accuracy, addressing supplier discrepancies and shipment errors.
• Operate automated packaging, shipping, and receiving equipment.
• Cross‑reference material with documentation for verification purposes.

• Positive attitude.
• Minimum 6 months of inventory experience in a warehouse or similar facility.
• Willingness to work overtime.
• Support for continuous improvement projects.

• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Customer service orientation.
• Experience operating Order Pickers.
• Inventory experience and computer proficiency.

• Occasionally lift and carry up to 35 pounds for 15‑30 minute intervals.
• Operate in an environment with frequently changing temperatures.
• Walk, squat, and bend for 15‑30 minute intervals.
• Consistently use required PPE for tasks performed.

• Background screening.

Shift: 2nd Shift, Monday – Friday, 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm
Starting pay: $25.85 per hour (pay range: $25.85 – $30.85 per hour)
