Responsibilities:
Mid-Ozark is a new MFA location, starting with a small, hands-on team. This is an opportunity for someone who wants to run daily operations directly, and not just manage from a distance. Because the team will be small, the GM will personally run day-to-day fertilizer blending, and hands-on blending experience is essential for this role.
What You’ll DoOversee daily plant operations to achieve maximum efficiency and savings, including timely, accurate work orders and billing
Communicate directly with customers on order status
Blend and formulate fertilizer products to customer specifications, maintaining quality control and minimum shrinkage
Oversee inventory and ensure accurate inventory records
Ensure all DOT drivers are trained, and records stay current
Communicate daily with the plant team on goals and provide performance feedback
Oversee all required safety training and recordkeeping
Perform hands-on equipment operation and basic maintenance as needed, given the small team size

Educational Assistance Qualifications Experience in the agriculture/fertilizer industry
Hands-on fertilizer blending experience (dry granular; liquid blending a plus)
Ability to read and understand financial and inventory records
Comfortable with physical work, including regularly lifting/moving 50-100 lbs Availability for occasional weekends and overtime as needed
