Overview

Good Shepherd Hospice is seeking an experienced hospice RN or LPN to serve our patients and families in Lebanon and surrounding communities
.

The ideal candidate must be passionate about providing quality care and excellent service to patients and their families.

• Previous experience in hospice, home health, or geriatrics preferred.

• Carrying out physician orders.
• Informing the physician of changes in the patient’s condition and needs.
• Communicating with medical professionals, the hospice team and others.
• Maintaining accurate, up-to-date records.
• Providing services in accordance with agency policies and regulations that define scope of practice.
• Participating in in-service programs.
• Demonstrating strong communication and customer service skills.

• Valid Nursing License.
• Hospice Experience Required.
• Strong organizational and self-management skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be of high integrity including maintenance of confidential information including all patient records.
• Works as a team player, following directions and adhering to defined care plans.
• Demonstrated commitment to the hospice philosophy of care.
• Can successfully pass background checks.
