Procedural LPN

Mercy is seeking a dedicated Procedural LPN to support physicians and RNs in delivering safe, compassionate care for patients undergoing procedures. Responsibilities include preparing patients and procedure rooms, obtaining vitals, assisting during exams and minor procedures, administering medications per protocol, documenting in the EMR, and reinforcing discharge instructions. The LPN will monitor patient status, follow infection-control and safety standards, and coordinate with the care team to ensure efficient patient flow.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and procedure rooms for exams and minor procedures
• Obtain and document vital signs and patient history
• Assist providers during procedures following sterile and safety protocols
• Administer medications and treatments per orders and scope of practice
• Document care and procedures accurately in the EMRMonitor patient status and report changes to the RN or provider
• Reinforce discharge instructions and patient education
• Maintain infection-control and equipment cleaning standards
• Support efficient patient flow and coordination with the care team
