Position Summary
The QC Inspector B monitors operations in areas designated by the lead inspector to ensure production standards are met. He/she recommends adjustments to the assembly or production process, accepts or rejects finished items, removes items that fail inspections, and completes tasks assigned by the lead inspector.
Essential Functions- Reads specifications of projects.
- Monitors operations.
- Inspects and measures materials.
- Accepts or rejects projects.
- Reports inspection data to lead inspector.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
- Minimum degree required:
High School Diploma or equivalent. - Experience:
Minimum of 1 year preferred.
- Read and understand specifications.
- Determine if projects meet production standards.
- Report and communicate inspection data.
- Follow orders from leads.
- Math skills for calibrating and calculating specifications.

- Prolonged standing.
- Bending at the waist and knees.
- Lifting up to 40 lbs from the floor.
- Climbing in and out of boats.
- Ladder usage.
- Able to maintain production speeds.
Performs tasks and duties under direct supervision, using well‑defined policies and procedures. Work is reviewed by supervisor. Limited opportunity exists for exercising independent judgment and decision making.
