Urologist - Urological Reconstruction and Pelvic Surgery
Dartmouth Health (DH) is seeking a BC/BE Urologist to assume the leadership of the urologic portion of our URPS program and fellowship. The position will be based at both Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC) in Lebanon, NH, and Valley Regional Hospital (VRH) in Claremont, NH. The successful candidate will join the Dartmouth Health system URPS program with a view to assuming directorship of the urological portion of that program as the current director moves to retirement.
The role will lead efforts to extend and build our URPS program in NH and VT, and at Valley Regional Hospital. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, a passion for rural health care, and an affinity for collaboration with primary care providers, referring urologists, and OBGYNs. A particular interest in developing a robotic surgery program at Valley Regional Hospital is highly valuable.
Dartmouth Hitchcock has a strong commitment to medical education; the candidate will be expected to be actively involved in medical student and resident education and research. Excellence in communication and a track record of impeccable professionalism are paramount.
Academic appointments commensurate with experience will be awarded by the Geisel School of Medicine agement in academic and didactic opportunities at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center is strongly encouraged.

- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology. Candidates must have completed or will soon complete training in Urology in an ACGME‑accredited residency
- Must obtain and maintain a medical license in the state of New Hampshire
Valley Regional Hospital is a 25‑bed critical access hospital serving the healthcare needs of the Greater Claremont community. It provides emergency and urgent care services, primary care, comprehensive rehabilitation services, and a variety of specialty services, including general surgery, infusion therapies, and oncology. Valley Regional recently received a 5‑star quality ranking from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).

- Full time, 40 hours per week, day shift
