We are looking for a Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist for an immediate travel opening in Lebanon, NH. The right candidate must have at least 1 year of experience.

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain imaging procedures to patients providing reassurance and support as required
• Screen patients for MRI safety prior to procedure performance
• Correctly interpret doctors' written instructions
• Position patients for MRI scans using immobilization and protective equipment to comply with government regulations and to ensure the safety of patients and staff
• Assist radiologist with procedure performance
• Start I.V.s, administer contrast media as directed and per protocol
• Evaluate MRI scans for technical quality, collate processed images and sequence of exposure and label appropriately
• Load and operate power injectors for contrast media administration
• Follow safety procedures when working with radiation
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system

• 1 year of experience
• BLS, ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT National Certification with registration in magnetic resonance imaging, and state-specific licensing when required
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean or stoop without difficulty
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology
• ARRT (MR), BLS, 2 Years (additional certifications may be required before assignment)
