Job Details:

• Work 36 hours per week with day/night rotation schedule

• On-call responsibilities required

• Care for patients on a 36-bed adult surgical unit focusing primarily on orthopedic and trauma patients

• Also work with other specialties including plastics and general surgery

• Main focus on mobilizing and rehabilitating patients in a very busy unit environment

• Required experience with chest tubes and various tubes

• Must be experienced with drips including Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, and amiodarone

• Handle lines, tubes, and drains for post-surgical patients

• Experience required with trachs and laryngectomies

• Telemetry monitoring experience necessary

• Manage complex wound care

• Central line care, maintenance, and blood draws required
