Shift: 12-Hour Nights | 36 Hours/Week Guaranteed | Every Other Weekend

Position Overview

Join a respected outpatient facility in New Hampshire as a Float Registered Nurse (RN). In this dynamic role, you will deliver compassionate, high-quality care in Emergency Department (ED) and Medical Surgical/Progressive Care Unit (MS/PCU) settings. This role requires clinical adaptability, quick decision-making, and effective communication across care teams.

You’ll support patients with complex needs, manage medication administration, and respond to urgent changes in patient condition while coordinating interdisciplinary care planning.

Qualifications Required
  • 1+ year of RN experience in an Outpatient Facility
  • Valid RN License in the State of New Hampshire (NH)
  • Valid American Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC BLS)

One or more of the following current certifications:

  • American Heart Association BLS (AHA BLS)
  • American Heart Association ACLS (AHA ACLS)
  • American Heart Association PALS (AHA PALS)
Responsibilities
  • Deliver professional nursing care in ED and PCU settings
  • Perform complete patient assessments and reassessments
  • Monitor, interpret, and respond to cardiac rhythms and hemodynamic changes
  • Administer medications accurately (6 Rights) and manage complex pain protocols
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and physicians
  • Formulate and revise individualized care plans
  • Provide family-centered patient education and discharge teaching
  • Respond rapidly to critical patient status changes
  • Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to quality improvement
  • Demonstrate flexibility and resilience under high-pressure clinical situations
  • Assist in procedures and interventions as required across departments
Schedule
  • 12-Hour Night Shifts
  • 36 Hours Weekly Guaranteed
  • Every Other Weekend Required
