Join a respected outpatient facility in New Hampshire as a Float Registered Nurse (RN). In this dynamic role, you will deliver compassionate, high-quality care in Emergency Department (ED) and Medical Surgical/Progressive Care Unit (MS/PCU) settings. This role requires clinical adaptability, quick decision-making, and effective communication across care teams.
You’ll support patients with complex needs, manage medication administration, and respond to urgent changes in patient condition while coordinating interdisciplinary care planning.
Qualifications Required- 1+ year of RN experience in an Outpatient Facility
- Valid RN License in the State of New Hampshire (NH)
- Valid American Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC BLS)
One or more of the following current certifications:
- American Heart Association BLS (AHA BLS)
- American Heart Association ACLS (AHA ACLS)
- American Heart Association PALS (AHA PALS)
- Deliver professional nursing care in ED and PCU settings
- Perform complete patient assessments and reassessments
- Monitor, interpret, and respond to cardiac rhythms and hemodynamic changes
- Administer medications accurately (6 Rights) and manage complex pain protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and physicians
- Formulate and revise individualized care plans
- Provide family-centered patient education and discharge teaching
- Respond rapidly to critical patient status changes
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to quality improvement
- Demonstrate flexibility and resilience under high-pressure clinical situations
- Assist in procedures and interventions as required across departments
- 12-Hour Night Shifts
- 36 Hours Weekly Guaranteed
- Every Other Weekend Required
