Position: Inpatient Neurology NP or PA - Friday-Monday

The Department of Neurology is looking for an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant/Associate to join our inpatient neurology team
.

This position is based at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC) located in Lebanon, NH. DHMC is New Hampshire’s only Level 1 trauma center and serves over 2 million people throughout New Hampshire and Vermont. DHMC was named New Hampshire’s Best Hospital ) by U.S. News & World Report .

Overview
  • Inpatient position
  • Four 10-hour days;
    Friday-Monday
  • Manage acute neurological conditions, including stroke, seizures, and complex neurological presentations
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and ancillary services for coordinated care
  • Academic appointment at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College
Requirements
  • National certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant/Associate
  • Ability to obtain/maintain licensure in New Hampshire and Vermont
  • At least two years of clinical neurology experience
  • Commitment to patient-centered, team-based care
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and clinical skills
