Registered Nurse (RN) – PACU

Shift Options:

• 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Days)
• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Nights)
• Variable day starts: 0700, 0800, 0900, 1000, 1100

Strong critical care skills required. Must be comfortable with:

• Arterial lines
• Central lines
• Vasoactive drips
• Sedative drips
• Chest tubes
• Tracheostomies
• Ventricular drains (Yes)
• ICP monitoring (No – patients requiring ICP go directly to ICU)

• Frequent overnight PACU boarders:
  • ICU-level craniotomies
  • Step-down patients
  • Med-Surg patients

• Previous ICU experience highly preferred
• High-acuity PACU experience preferred
• Must be confident managing complex post-op patients independently
