Overview

Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA). Outpatient Surgery Center. Full-time 40 hours per week 7:00am - 5:30pm, M-F. The Outpatient Surgery Center (OSC) at Dartmouth Hitchcock is a free standing centre located on the DHMC Lebanon campus. The OSC operates eight operating‑room suites and is dedicated to providing care for adult and pediatric patients requiring same‑day surgical procedures. The ultimate goal of the OSC is to provide the right care, in the right place and the right time for our patients who seek our surgical services.

The OSC is growing and needs an individual who can function clinically as well as be part of a multi‑faceted team.

• Assists with routine patient care activities under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, including but not be limited to, performing ADL's, obtaining clinical data, including vital signs, heights and weights, utilizing universal precautions, collecting specimens or performing point of care testing and recording results in the medical record, etc.
• Assists in maintaining a clean and safe work environment by keeping the hallways clear of excess equipment and emptying linen bags when full.
• Assists visitors and answers telephones.
• Assists new co‑workers in learning the work of the department.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned.

• High school graduate required.
• Must demonstrate keyboarding skills and be familiar with computer use.
• Previous hospital experience preferred.

• Licensed Nursing Assistant in the State of NH required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certificate required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required in accordance with D‑H's Driver Disqualifications Guidelines.

• Pay Range: $20.68/Hr.
