Travel RN - ICU

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma setting, requiring advanced hemodynamic and neuro monitoring skills.

Job Details

• Position in an 18-bed ICU within a hospital setting,

• Patient population includes surgical, trauma, neuro, plastics, multiple organ failure, and sepsis cases,

• Rotating day and night shifts for a total of 36 hours per week,

• Care involves advanced hemodynamic monitoring, intracranial pressure (ICP) monitoring, and ventilated patients,

• Responsibilities include managing pressors, inotropes, vasoactive medications, and assisting with line insertion and maintenance,

• Management of lines, tubes, drains for post-surgical patients, as well as ventriculostomies, lumbar drains, bolts, and EVD,

• Use and interpretation of PA lines and waveforms,

Job Requirements

• Active NH or compact RN license required and must remain valid for the entire assignment,

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required,

• Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 trauma experience required within the last 2 years,

• Proficient in critical care skills including advanced hemodynamic and neuro monitoring,

• No local candidates permitted; must live at least 75 miles away from the facility,
