Travel RN - Neonatal ICU

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neonatal ICU position requiring recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 trauma experience and a NH or compact license.

Job Details

• Position is in a 30-bed Intensive Care Nursery within a children's hospital environment,

• Average daily census is 22-24 neonatal patients,

• Expect rotation between day and night shifts for a 36 hour work week,

• Floating required to the Chad Inpatient Unit, including Pediatrics, Pediatric Step Down, and PICU,

• Assignments matched to skill level when floating,

• Travel nurses do not attend deliveries,

Job Requirements

• Active NH or compact RN license required throughout the assignment,

• Current BLS certification required,

• Recent experience in Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma within the last 2 years,

• No local candidates; must live outside a 75-mile radius,

Additional Information

• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team in an advanced neonatal intensive care setting,

• Full services of a children's hospital are available within the unit,

• Coverage will include both day and night shifts,

• Assignments begin in March only,
