As a Locum NP or PA, you will play a crucial role in assisting our oncology department by evaluating patients, conducting examinations, and collaborating closely with physicians to develop effective treatment plans. • Conduct patient assessments and evaluations in the oncology setting
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members
• Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results
• Educate patients and families about treatment options and care
• Document patient care activities and maintain accurate records
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Stay updated on advancements in oncology practices

• Associate degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies
• Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Experience in oncology or related medical field preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare environment
• Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8a-5p

No call required

Setting:
Outpatient

Patient Volume: 10 per day

Skills Needed:
Breast cancer center experience and chemotherapy prescribing

Will cover infusions and calls from your patients

No procedures

EMR:
Epic

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
