Overview
Our Behavioral Health Emergency Department unit consists of a 6 beds supporting high risk mental health patients during a critical psychiatric event. Our care team’s priority is to provide therapeutic nursing care in a safe and controlled environment to stabilize their illness while developing a healthy care plan. As the primary nurse, you will work with our crisis team, the psychiatric and emergency physician/nursing team, care managers and security staff.
An effective candidate will have a passion for critical care psychiatric nursing, empathy, and demonstrate a compassionate approach, high level of emotional intelligence and be diligent in their work environment to provide one on one support for patient needs.
This is a FT (3x12hr shifts) rotating position.
The 12hr shift rotation is between 7a to 7P, 10a to 10p, 11a to 11p, 1p to 1a, and 7p to 7a
ResponsibilitiesThe Clinical Nurse is an engaged and credentialed member of the Professional Nursing Organization and is responsible for autonomous practice directed by the professional tenets of practitioner, leader/decision maker, scientist and transferor. The Clinical Nurse is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide evidence‑based care and to continuously monitor and evaluate practice to ensure safe passage of patients that is in the best interest of populations served.
- Graduate from an accredited Nursing Program required.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Licensure/Certification s
- Licensed Registered Nurse with New Hampshire eligibility.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certificate required upon hire.
- AVADE Workplace Violence Prevention Training within one year of hire.

- Pay Range: $42.25/Hr. – $59.50/Hr.
