Travel RN - Labor & Delivery

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Labor & Delivery position in a high-volume Birthing Pavilion requiring recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience.

• Active RN license (NH or Compact) required
• BLS certification mandatory
• Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience within the last 2 years required

• Work in a Birthing Pavilion performing approximately 1,300 deliveries per year
• Unit includes 21 patient rooms, a 2-bed triage room, and 2 operating rooms
• Experience in either Postpartum or Labor is acceptable; both are not required
• Nurse:patient ratios generally follow AWHONN guidelines, including 1:1 for Pitocin and active labor/intermittent monitoring, 1:2 for cervical ripening, 1:2 for high-risk medications such as Magnesium Sulfate and Insulin drips, and 1:3 for Antepartum and Postpartum couplets
• Day/Night rotation preferred, though Night shifts are also available
• ASAP start required
• Candidates must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facility
• No local candidates will be considered
