Operating Room Registered Nurse Location

Lebanon, NH

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shifts are scheduled from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, four days a week.

The Operating Room Registered Nurse prepares and assists in the set-up of the operating room for scheduled procedures. Key responsibilities include verifying accurate and complete preparation of supplies, instruments, equipment and special order implants/instruments pre-operatively, safely opening and dispensing sterile items, and assessing special needs related to patient history, surgical procedure, and positioning.

• Count sponges, sharps, and instruments with the scrub person.
• Ensure accurate charge capture for items utilized in the Operating Room for patient-specific charges.
• Work two blocks of mandatory holidays, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's.

• Minimum of 2 years of current Operating Room experience.
• Scrub and circulating experience with a skills checklist required.
• Experience in Orthopedics and Neurosurgery.
• Must have EPIC EMR experience.
• New Hampshire RN License or Compact required.
• Active American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Traveler must provide their own transportation, as this position is in a rural area with no public transport.
