American Traveler is hiring a PACU RN for a Same Day Program requiring BLS, ACLS, and recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience.
Requirements
- Active RN license (NH or Compact)
- Current BLS and ACLS certification required
- PALS certification preferred
- Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience within the last 2 years
Responsibilities
- 34-bed pre and post-op recovery unit
- Phase one recovery care with a 1:2 patient ratio
- Services include gyn, ortho, plastics, vascular, cardiology, and general surgery
- 40 hours per week with varying shift start times (6a-4:30p, 7a-5:30p, 8a-6:30p)
- No on-call responsibilities
- No weekend requirements
- Provide pre and post-operative recovery care to surgical patients
- Must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facility to be considered
