The Chemical Account Specialist (CAS) is a field-based role focused on supporting and managing car wash customer accounts through chemical service, equipment adjustments, and technical support. This is not a traditional sales role
—the primary emphasis is on service, chemistry management, mechanical troubleshooting, and customer relationship maintenance.

The CAS works independently within their territory, managing multiple accounts while ensuring chemical performance, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities Service & Support
  • Perform routine chemical service visits at car wash customer locations
  • Adjust and manage chemical usage to optimize performance and cost
  • Observe wash results and evaluate vehicle cleanliness
  • Troubleshoot chemical and mechanical issues
  • Complete detailed service reports after each visit
  • Support chemical installations, conversions, and startups
  • Monitor and manage chemical inventory
  • Provide ongoing technical and customer support
Account Management
  • Maintain and service an assigned portfolio of approximately 25–30 car wash accounts
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Ensure consistent service quality and customer satisfaction
  • Conduct cost analysis and chemical usage reviews
Business Development Support
  • Identify opportunities to expand services within existing car wash accounts
  • Prospect and support the conversion of potential new customers
  • Present solutions aligned with customer operational needs
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals and solutions
Planning & Reporting
  • Submit accurate weekly planning, service, and expense reports
  • Maintain accurate data within CRM systems
  • Manage territory expenses within budget
  • Support forecasting and territory planning initiatives
Training
  • 8 weeks of remote classroom training (Chemicals 101 & 102)
  • 2–4 weeks of field training alongside an experienced Chemical Account Specialist
Required Qualifications (Must-Haves)
  • Car Wash industry experience (mandatory)
  • Minimum 3 years of car wash sales and/or service experience
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience working independently in a field-based role
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
  • Ability to analyze data, manage costs, and solve problems
  • Comfortable traveling regularly within the assigned territory
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with in a national distribution or direct service network
  • Industry-related experience (highly preferred)
  • Prior B2B customer-facing experience
Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
