FECON, LLC is a vegetation management equipment manufacturer located in Lebanon, Ohio near Kings Island Amusement Park. Job Summary:

The Draftsman is responsible for creating, detailing, and maintaining high‑quality 2D engineering drawings in support of New Product Development (NPD). This role works closely with Design Engineers to ensure that 3D models are accurately translated into clear, complete, and manufacturable 2D drawings using Solid Works. The Draftsman ensures drawing accuracy, consistency, and alignment with design intent, manufacturing requirements, and release standards.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Creates 2D drawings from 3D CAD models using Solid Works.
• Ensures accurate translation of design intent and functional requirements.
• Applies GD&T, dimensioning, and tolerancing per standards.
• Reviews and checks drawings for accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborates with Design Engineers to resolve discrepancies.
• Supports drawing releases aligned to NPD milestones.
• Maintains drawing standards and templates.
• Processes engineering changes and revisions.
• Ensures compliance with documentation and revision control.
• Supports Manufacturing and cross‑functional teams.
• Identifies improvements to drawing quality and efficiency.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Proficiency in Solid Works.
• Understanding of GD&T and drawing standards.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret design intent.
• Strong documentation and organizational skills.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally.

Education and Experience:

• Associate or Bachelor degree in Engineering/Drafting preferred.
• 2+ years drafting or CAD experience preferred.
• Manufacturing or heavy equipment experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged desk/computer work.
• Ability to access production areas as needed.
