Senior Controller

Responsibilities

• Calculate and monitor standard and actual costs for flavor products
• Analyze variances (materials, labor, overhead) and provide feedback to Operations, Pricing and R&D
• Ensure accurate BOMs and routings in collaboration with R&D and Production
• Perform in-depth margin analysis by product, customer, and business segment
• Support annual budgeting and periodic forecasting for total company and business segments
• Prepare monthly management reports, including KPIs, manufacturing variances, and inventory analysis
• Serve as a Controlling partner for Operations, R&D, and Supply Chain
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic decisions at local and regional levels
• Actively engaged in the S4/Hana upgrade of SAP
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports in Power BI
• Identify and implement best practices in controlling, cost management, and reporting

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required
• CMA a plus
• 10+ years of progressive experience in controlling, cost accounting, or financial analysis in a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of SAP S4/Hana (FI/CO, MM, PP modules), Excel, and BI tools (e.g., Power BI)
• Industry experience in flavor, fragrance, food ingredients, or specialty chemicals is highly preferred
• Excellent analytical, communication, and business partnering skills
• Experience working in an international environment is a plus
