With our passion, creativity, and innovation, “We capture what moves”. We have an immediate opportunity to hire a Night Shift Sanitation Technician for our Lebanon, Ohio facility.
The Sanitation Technician is generally responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the capsule production areas. Interacts with all internal Departments and external Contractors, Vendors, Auditors, and Customers. Key competencies include Analytical Skills, Communication and Interpersonal Skills, Time Management and Self-Motivation Skills, and Mathematical and Computer Skills.
Shift hours are 5pm to 5:30am on the 2-2-3 schedule.
Responsibilities- Maintain cleanliness throughout all hallways and stairs at the production level.
- Clean and sanitize drains in the production areas.
- Manage master sanitation lists outside of the production rooms, including washrooms, hallways, and pre-weighing rooms.
- Clean overhead piping using a scissor lift.
- Stock soap and sanitizer in each of the production areas.
- Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
- Use and maintain assigned power equipment and hand tools, including buffers, auto scrubbers, extractors, high pressure washers, high speed buffers and vacuums, brooms, mops, and squeegees for cleaning and general maintenance of floors, walls, carpets, furniture, etc.
- Support and enforce all MANE and governmental policies, such as OSHA, EPA, GMP rules, and health and safety regulations and guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
- Actively participate in relevant education/training based upon corporate and local environmental objectives, adhering to applicable environmental policies and procedures and best practices.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of custodial experience with industrial or construction backgrounds preferred.
- Flavor industry desired.
- Computer literate.
