GBP-Cincinnati is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations in a fast-paced plant environment. In this role, you will oversee production teams, assign work, and monitor schedules to meet safety, quality, and output goals. You will track KPIs, coordinate with maintenance and logistics, and enforce safety and housekeeping standards. The supervisor will train and coach operators, support continuous improvement, troubleshoot production issues, and document shift reports.
Ideal candidates bring hands-on shop floor experience, strong leadership, and the ability to maintain high quality in a high-volume setting.
Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day plant production activities and personnel
- Assign work, balance labor, and manage production schedules to meet targets
- Monitor safety, quality, and productivity KPIs and take corrective action
- Train, coach, and evaluate production team members
- Enforce safety procedures, PPE use, and housekeeping standards
- Coordinate with maintenance on equipment issues and downtime
- Support continuous improvement and waste reduction initiatives
- Troubleshoot production and quality issues on the shop floor
- Ensure accurate documentation, shift reports, and production records
- Collaborate with logistics and warehouse teams to meet delivery needs
