The primary purpose of your job position is to assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, developing, infection control and directing the day‑to‑day functions of the Nursing Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility, and as may be directed by the Administrator, the Medical Director, and/or the Director of Nursing, to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.
- Must possess current OH RN License and be in good standing with Board of Nursing
- Must have infection control experience.
- Self‑starter who is patient care focused.
- Excellent communication skills and compassion for the elderly population.
- Long‑Term Care experience required.
- Oversee nursing staff to ensure high‑quality patient care and compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Manage nursing administration tasks, including scheduling and staff evaluations.
- Maintain accurate patient records using EHR systems while adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans that respect residents’ rights.
- Provide training and support to nursing staff in areas such as acute care and hospice care.
- Ensure effective communication with patients and their families regarding care and treatment options.
