Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Traveling to customers homes in a company vehicle
  • Responsible for diagnosing and repair issue with residential HVAC equipment
  • Maintaining communication with the customer such as job updates and collecting payments
  • Providing exceptional customer service and selling systems and accessories/add‑ons
  • Engineering installation, service, maintenance, and duct cleaning jobs and providing appropriate information to management, co‑workers, and customers as appropriate
  • Assisting with other jobs as needed including but not limited to installations, maintenances, duct cleanings, warehouse/inventory, installing humidifiers, installing thermostats, selling/referring other products such as maintenance plans and system installations, performing basic IAQ/duct cleaning sells calls to new and existing customers
  • Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements
  • Minimum 1-2 years of residential HVAC experience required and/or relevant training/education
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Must have problem solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
  • High school diploma or GED required
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 150lbs with assistance
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
  • Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone
