HVAC Maintenance Technician

Comfort Solutions is seeking to hire a HVAC Maintenance Technician.

Reports to:

Office Manager & Owner/President

• Travel to customers’ homes in a company vehicle
• Diagnose and repair issues with residential HVAC equipment
• Maintain communication with customers (job updates, payment collection)
• Provide exceptional customer service and sell systems, accessories, and add‑ons
• Engineer installation, service, maintenance, and duct cleaning jobs and give appropriate information to management, co‑workers, and customers
• Assist with other jobs as needed (installations, maintenance, duct cleanings, warehouse/inventory, humidifiers, thermostats, sales/referral of other products, IAQ/duct cleaning calls)
• Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures

• Minimum 1‑2 years residential HVAC experience or relevant training/education
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Problem‑solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including customer interaction
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a positive attitude while providing exemplary customer service
• Capacity to work independently and complete assignments within prescribed routines and standard practices
• High school diploma or GED required

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Ability to lift and carry up to 150 lbs with assistance
• Ability to safely perform job functions consistent with ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including productivity standards
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with ADA, FMLA, and other standards
• Must be able to talk, listen, and speak clearly on the telephone
