Selmet, a PCC Structurals company, is seeking a Plant Facilities Engineer to support our advanced titanium casting operations for aerospace and defense customers. In this role, you will own the reliability and performance of plant facilities, utilities, and building systems, ensuring safe, efficient operation of our manufacturing site. You will plan and execute preventive maintenance, lead facility projects and upgrades, troubleshoot complex issues, and collaborate closely with operations, maintenance, and EHS.

This position offers exposure to advanced manufacturing, lean practices, and continuous improvement within a global, growth-focused organization.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain plant facilities, utilities, and building systems to ensure safe, reliable operations supporting titanium casting production.
  • Plan and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, compressed air, and industrial infrastructure.
  • Lead and support facilities projects, including equipment installations, layout changes, and capital improvements.
  • Coordinate with operations, EHS, and maintenance teams to meet safety, quality, and uptime goals.
  • Troubleshoot facility issues, analyze root causes, and implement sustainable engineering solutions.
  • Develop and update facility standards, maintenance procedures, and technical documentation.
  • Evaluate vendors and contractors; manage bids, schedules, and on-site work for facility-related services.
  • Monitor energy usage and drive cost-reduction and efficiency improvements in utilities and building systems.
  • Ensure facilities comply with aerospace, defense, environmental, and safety regulations and internal standards.
