This opportunity is ideal for a doctor who enjoys clinical variety, confident decision-making, and collaborative problem-solving in a structured urgent care setting. The role offers a balanced approach to urgent medicine, emphasizing sound clinical judgment, teamwork, and sustainable practice standards within a supportive, patient-centered environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesEvaluate and treat urgent, non-routine medical cases requiring same-day attention
Perform diagnostic assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans
Stabilize patients and determine next steps for ongoing or referral care when needed
Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients regarding medical findings and options
Collaborate closely with clinical support staff to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care
Maintain accurate and timely medical records in accordance with clinical standards
DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited institution or equivalent
Active veterinary license or eligibility for licensure in the state of employment
Interest in urgent care or emergency-style medicine
Strong diagnostic reasoning with the ability to adapt in evolving clinical situations
Clear, professional communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
