What You’ll Do:
- Deliver high-quality urgent care to patients within clinical guidelines and state regulations
- Ensure a welcoming and supportive environment for every patient
- Collaborate with clinical staff to provide seamless, efficient care
- Help patients avoid unnecessary ER visits by offering accessible, non-emergency medical treatment
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care on an outpatient basis to include procedures normally performed in an urgent care setting
- Responsible for the delivery of care, treatment, and referrals. Arrange for referral resources for those medical specialties not provided by theorganizationfor patients of the clinic
- Evaluate patients todeterminethe medical condition of the patient, through the performance of physical examinations,thereby,establishinga diagnosis and proposed treatment plan
- Perform such clinical procedures for patient'sbenefit which are within scope and skill ofpractitioner
- Communicate information to patientsregardingdiagnosis and treatment goals
- Maintains accurate, complete,conciseandtimelydocumentationwith afocus onproper level coding and clinical documentation integrity(CDI) in the electronic medical record
- Ability to performoccupational andtelemedicinepatient care
- Perform non-patient facing duties such as laband x-rayreview
- Perform other job-related dutiesas may be assigned by the Medical Director
What We’re Looking For:
- Active and unrestricted NP or PA license in Oregon (or eligibility to obtain)
- DEA license or willingness to obtain
- Solid understanding of treatment protocols and drug interactions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive, flexible, and team-oriented mindset
- Genuine passion for patient-centered care
