ELS is hiring for the position of Activities Supervisor in Lebanon, Pennsylvania.
Activities Supervisor - Create Memories That Matter!
Do you love creating unforgettable experiences? Are you energetic, organized, and passionate about bringing people together? Hershey Thousand Trails is looking for a fun, enthusiastic Activities Supervisor who can help our campers make lifelong memories!
As the Activities Supervisor, you'll lead our activities program, manage a small team, and ensure our recreation spaces are safe, welcoming, exciting, and always ready for fun.
What You'll Do
Event & Activity Planning
- Plan, schedule, and host activities and events for all age groups throughout the resort.
- Coordinate all event logistics including food & beverages, ticket sales, entertainment bookings and supplies.
- Arrange sponsors to help fund events and enhance the guest experience.
- Review and select vendors for educational or community seminars.
Team Leadership
- Supervise a team of 2-3 Recreation staff members.
- Create and manage staff schedules.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and support to ensure excellent service.
Operations & Recreation Oversight
- Prepare shopping lists for upcoming activities and ensure supplies are stocked.
- Oversee light janitorial duties in recreation areas, including keeping pool and activity spaces clean, emptying trash, and maintaining welcoming spaces.
- Oversee the rental process for paddle boats and other recreational items.
- Ensure all recreation equipment and rentals remain in safe, clean, and working condition.
Communication & Guest Engagement
- Maintain strong communication with guests, staff, management, and vendors.
- Manage newsletters: gather content, create layouts, and coordinate the printing and distribution
- Ensure all activities align with resort policies, guest expectations, and safety standards.
- Serve as the friendly, upbeat representative of the resort at all times.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience in event planning, recreation, or activities coordination.
- Strong leadership and communication skills-people love working with you!
- High attention to detail and great organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office;
Microsoft Publisher experience is a plus. - Ability to work weekends, holidays, and peak season schedules as required.
- A team-oriented, positive, energetic personality that helps create unforgettable camping experiences.
- Someone who loves interacting with guests, solving problems, and making every day fun.
