Job DescriptionThe candidate will lead a mixed research (quantitative and qualitative) in connection with the teaching teams, the heads of the institution and the actors of educational digital. His work will be articulated around several complementary axes:
- Identify and document the projects carried out at La Rochelle University on the period (OPEN CV, OCAM, Pass Immersion): objectives, management, target audiences and interactions.
- Develop a map of initiatives in terms of pedagogical transformation, allowing to situate the actions in an institutional and temporal perspective.
- Identify the synergies, overlaps and evolutions between projects, in connection with the national orientations (PIA, France 2030).
- Analyze the evolution of pedagogical practices through interviews, course observations, focus groups and surveys with teachers, training managers and students.
- Study the appropriation of digital tools (Moodle, Wooclap, Wooflash, etc.) and their role in the development of active, collaborative or differentiated pedagogies.
- Examine the impact of hybrid learning spaces on the modalities of teaching and evaluation.
- Measure the effects of pedagogical transformations on:
Teachers: evolution of postures, professional development, relationship to digital and collaboration;
Students: engagement, feeling of competence, perception of success, trajectories and acquisition of transversal skills. - Set up an analysis protocol associating institutional indicators, survey data and, if applicable, Learning Analytics approaches from the usage traces of Moodle.
- Identify the conditions that favor the sustainability of innovations (support, training, governance, tools).
- Produce recommendations in terms of support to pedagogical transformation.
- Compare the results with other national NCU projects in order to situate the experience of La Rochelle University in a broader framework of transformation of higher education.
- Participate in the writing of research reports and syntheses for university bodies.
- Produce a scientific article in peer-reviewed journals and communicate the results at conferences.
- Contribute to the organization of seminars or study days within La Rochelle University to share the results and promote their appropriation by the university community.
Description of the profile sought:
- Holder of a doctorate in sociology / Education Sciences
- Good knowledge of higher education and training dynamics.
- Solid knowledge of the issues of university pedagogy (competence approach, digital, hybridization).
- Ability to construct and conduct a mixed research protocol (quantitative and qualitative).
- Skills in data analysis, interviews, questionnaires and pedagogical data processing.
- Proven experience with at least one scientific publication.
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary and interuniversity team, in connection with academic and administrative actors.
- Excellent writing and synthesis skills.
- Required qualities: autonomy, rigor, sense of organization
- Level 8 Doctorate/equivalent degrees
