Science Teacher Position

The Lebanon School District is seeking a dedicated and innovative Science Teacher to join our educational team. The Science Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering an engaging science instructional program while creating a positive classroom environment that encourages students to learn, grow, and develop the skills, attitudes, and knowledge necessary for success in post-secondary education and career opportunities.

The successful candidate will collaborate with students, families, colleagues, and administrators to support each student's academic and personal growth.

As a Science Teacher, you'll inspire students to explore the world around them through engaging, hands-on science instruction. You'll design meaningful lessons that build scientific knowledge, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills while connecting science to students' everyday lives. You'll use data, creativity, and differentiated instruction to meet students where they are and help every learner grow. From creating a positive classroom environment to collaborating with colleagues, families, and administrators, you'll play an important role in fostering a supportive, inclusive school community where all students can thrive.

• Bachelor's degree (minimum)
• Current Pennsylvania Department of Education certification (preferred)
