Cardiovascular Operating Room Technician Location

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shifts, 5 days a week (06:45 AM - 03:15 PM) with call every third day and possible weekends.

We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room Technician with open heart experience. The ideal candidate will have Level I trauma experience and be certified through NBSTSA. Responsibilities include assisting in surgical procedures and providing care for patients, including those with COVID-19, in a tobacco and fragrance-free facility.

• Assist with various cardiovascular surgeries, including CABG, valve replacements, and more.
• Maintain sterile field and follow aseptic techniques during operations.
• Monitor patient statuses and assist in interventions as necessary.
• Coordinate with surgical teams to ensure smooth operation flow.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cardiovascular Operating Room setting.
• NBSTSA certification required; BLS certification is also necessary.
• EPIC charting experience required.
• Experience in Level I trauma is required.
