Description:
Schedule requirements include night shift 3x12 hours from 7 PM to 7:30 AM.
Candidates may be required to work weekends and holidays as needed.
Pre-screening will determine clinical fit before final decision by management.
Clinical screens will be conducted on a case-by-case basis.
Manager will conduct interviews for selected candidates.
Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience.
Certifications in ACLS and BLS are required.
Ability to provide care in a tobacco and fragrance-free facility is necessary.
Floating may be required to other units as needed.
Candidates may occasionally care for stable postoperative patients transferred from intensive care.
Expected patient ratios are 5:1.
This unit treats adult and geriatric patients with cardiac diseases and stroke.
The unit accommodates patients requiring continuous intravenous medication drips.
Additional patient diagnoses may include congestive heart failure exacerbations and respiratory illnesses.
All registered nurses should be certified in advance cardiac life support and stroke care.
Special equipment used in this unit may involve high acuity procedures.
Candidates must adhere to compliance and paperwork requirements as outlined prior to start.
