- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (April 6, 2026 – July 6, 2026)
- Role: CVOR Registered Nurse (RN) / Cardiac OR RN / Perioperative Nurse (Travel RN)
- Shift: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (06:45 – 15:15), Monday–Friday
- Call Requirements: Every 3rd day and at least 1–2 weekends per month (weekday call coverage 15:00–07:00; 48 hours on weekends)
- Hours per Week: 40
- Setting: Cardiac Open Heart Surgery (CVOR) with expectation to assist in General OR cases as needed
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,780 - $2,920 per week
- Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR RN experience (cardiac OR / open heart surgery)
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — no license hits accepted
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA or ARC only)
- EPIC charting experience required
- Willingness to participate in call rotation and work occasional weekends/holidays
- COVID-19 and seasonal flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
- Ability to work in a tobacco- and fragrance-free facility
- Provide skilled perioperative nursing care for adult and geriatric patients undergoing cardiac (CVOR) and general surgical procedures
- Assist surgical teams during open-heart procedures, invasive cardiac monitoring, and general OR cases as needed
- Respond to emergent surgical needs while on call and participate in unit call rotation
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in EPIC and ensure compliance with perioperative policies
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including anesthesia, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, physical therapy, and case management
- Follow infection control, fire safety, universal protocol, and patient safety standards
- Support a patient-centered environment focused on quality outcomes and efficient workflow
