• Location: Lebanon, PA 17042 — Pennsylvania travel nursing job
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: March 30, 2026
• End Date: June 29, 2026
• Shift: 3x12-Hour Days (07:00 - 19:30)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2500–$2630 per week
• Call Requirements: Every 3rd day and at least 1-2 weekends per month (weekday call 15:00-07:00, 48 hours on weekends)
• Weekend/Holiday Coverage: As needed
• Floating: Will assist in the General OR when there are no CVOR cases
• COVID-19 & Flu Vaccines: Required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
• Facility: Tobacco and fragrance free

• Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR RN experience (cardiac surgery experience preferred: CABG, TAVR, MAZE, mitral valve replacement, ASD repair)
• Active Registered Nurse license (no license hits accepted)
• Certifications:
  
  ACLS and BLS (AHA or ARC only)
• EPIC charting experience required (EPIC documentation and perioperative charting)
• Experience with cardiovascular and thoracic procedures including CABG, TAVR, MAZE, valve repairs/replacements, and atrial septal defect repair
• Strong knowledge of infection control, fire safety, laser and radiation safety, specimen handling/labeling, universal protocol, and wound management
• Ability to care for adult and geriatric patients, including potential COVID-19 cases
• Must complete pre-start modules (5-6 hours)
• Maximum of 7 days requested time off per contract

• Provide expert perioperative and intraoperative nursing care in the CVOR and assist in the General OR as needed
• Prepare and maintain a sterile environment for cardiac and thoracic surgical procedures using strict sterile technique
• Administer blood and blood products, monitor patient status, and respond to emergencies during and after procedures
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including anesthesia, perfusion, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and surgical teams
• Participate in call rotation and provide weekend/holiday coverage as scheduled
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, hospital policies, and perioperative standards
• Document care accurately and timely using EPIC electronic health records
