CVOR Registered Nurse (CVOR RN) – Travel Nurse – Lebanon, PA (17042)

CVOR Registered Nurse (Travel) – Lebanon, PA. 13-week travel nursing assignment for experienced CVOR RNs with 2+ years CVOR experience, current ACLS/BLS, and EPIC charting. Join a collaborative cardiothoracic surgical team in a community hospital.

• Location: Lebanon, Pennsylvania (17042) — Pennsylvania nursing jobs / travel nursing
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (travel nurse assignment)
• Setting: Cardiac Open Heart Surgery (CVOR) with float to General OR as needed (cardiac operating room, cardiothoracic OR)
• Shift: Day shift, Monday–Friday, 06:45 – 15:15 (8-hour shifts)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Call Requirements: Every 3rd day and at least 1–2 weekends per month (weekday call 15:00–07:00, 48 hours on weekends)
• Start Date: April 6, 2026
• End Date: July 6, 2026
• On-site Position: On-site CVOR RN role (no remote)

• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,780–$2,920 per week

• Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR RN experience (cardiac OR nurse, perioperative nurse)
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (no license hits accepted)
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA or ARC only)
• EPIC charting experience required
• Ability to assist in General OR when CVOR cases are not scheduled
• COVID-19 and seasonal flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
• Must be tobacco and fragrance free
• Maximum of 7 days requested time off per contract

• Provide perioperative nursing care for adult and geriatric patients undergoing cardiac and thoracic surgical procedures
• Assist with procedures including CABG (coronary artery bypass graft), valve replacements, thoracotomies, and vascular surgeries
• Float to General OR and support the surgical team across specialties as needed
• Participate in call rotation per schedule (every 3rd day and 1–2 weekends/month)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, perfusion, and surgical techs
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control, safety protocols, and universal precautions
• Document patient care accurately and timely using EPIC electronic health record
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care — including care for COVID-19 positive patients when required

• Work with an experienced, supportive cardiothoracic surgical team in a community-focused hospital
• Exposure to advanced technology and diverse cardiac cases (open-heart surgery)
