- Call requirements: every 3rd day and at least 1 to 2 weekends per month

Description:

Candidates will be expected to assist in the general operating room when there are no CVOR cases.
Clinical screening will occur to determine clinical fit.
If candidates pass the clinical review and meet guidelines, they will be forwarded for final decision.
The manager will conduct interviews.
Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience.
Required certifications include ACLS and BLS.
Experienced with the EPIC charting system is also necessary.
Candidates should be prepared to work on weekends as needed.
Holidays may also require availability.
Candidates must possess skills relevant to CVOR procedures, such as CABG, valve replacements, and MAZE procedures.
Experience in infection control, laser safety, and specimen handling is important.
Candidates should be aware that modules may be required and will need to be completed prior to starting.
A maximum of 7 days of requested time off is allowed.
Local candidates will need to fall within a specified radius.
This position may involve caring for adult and geriatric patients.
Familiarity with interdisciplinary support teams, including respiratory services and social services, is beneficial.
All staff must adhere to safety protocols, including fire safety and universal time-out procedures.
