Press Operator
Join Amcor as a Printing Press Operator and play a key role in producing high-quality packaging that makes a global impact. You'll run a 6-color rotogravure press, ensure safety and quality standards, and contribute to a team focused on collaboration and continuous improvement.
Schedule:
- Shift: 2-2-3: 12-hour shifts, nights, 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.

What you'll do:
- Set up and operate rotogravure press to meet quality/productivity goals
- Monitor color accuracy and print quality
- Troubleshoot equipment and printing issues
- Follow all safety and chemical handling procedures
- Inspect and correct materials during production
- Complete required documentation
- Assist with training team members
- Communicate with supervisors, maintenance, and co-workers
- Maintain housekeeping standards and support process improvements
Preferred qualifications:
- 3+ years web handling and 2+ years rotogravure press experience
- Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills
- Ability to distinguish colors accurately
- Computer proficiency and willingness to learn new systems
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain)
- Commitment to teamwork, safety, and quality
Physical Requirements:
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Stand for long periods (steel-toed shoes required)
- Perform climbing, crouching, and reaching
