Foundry Manager

The Foundry Manager oversees daily foundry operations to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective production while maintaining quality standards. This role leads production teams, manages scheduling, process improvements, and employee development, and works cross-functionally to achieve operational goals.

• Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 6 years of foundry manufacturing experience
• Strong leadership and supervisory experience
• Knowledge of foundry operations, production planning, and safety standards
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills

• Experience with continuous improvement and lean manufacturing
• Knowledge of quality systems and production reporting

• Lead daily foundry operations, including melting, molding, and heat treatment
• Manage production schedules, staffing, and workflow to meet production goals
• Drive process improvements, cost reduction, and productivity initiatives
• Supervise, train, and develop production employees and supervisors
• Partner with Quality, Maintenance, Production, and HR to support operations
• Monitor production performance and implement corrective actions as needed
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards
• Promote a safe workplace and maintain risk assessments and safe work procedures
