Fitter​/Welder

Job Description

Monday through Thursday, 10-hour shifts; may require Friday depending on business needs.

Willing to work with students’ class schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Fabricate steel units from detailed drawings.
• • Fit steel parts formed/sized together using various hand tools.
  • Weld steel, after fitted, per drawings.
• Clean and prepare finished product for painting.
• Maintain a clean working environment.

Physical Abilities:

• Stand, squat, kneel, and climb.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to read blueprints.
• Must have basic Math skills.
• Must be able to pass a drug test.
• Must be able to pass a Welding test.
