What You’ll Do

Provide advanced nursing support for urgent cardiothoracic surgeries from cath lab to recovery
Support surgical team during patient procedures and post-operative recovery
Assist with vein harvesting procedures and other specialized interventions
Collaborate with surgeons and staff to ensure optimal patient care
Support ICU and step-down units with patient management and rounds
Respond to after-hours call and callbacks as needed, averaging 4 hours daily
Document patient interactions and procedures efficiently using EPIC EMR

What You Need
Required:

Valid PA nursing license and DEA registration
At least 3 years of relevant clinical experience in cardiothoracic or acute care settings
Ability to work 24-hour shifts, including on-call responsibilities
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred:

Experience with vein harvesting or cardiothoracic procedures
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced hospital environment
