What You’ll Do

Provide advanced care support for urgent cardiothoracic surgeries, including vein harvesting
Assist with patient assessments, pre- and post-operative care, and coordination
Support the surgical team during flexible overnight shifts
Manage a patient population aged 18 and older, including complex cases
Utilize EPIC EMR system for documentation and patient management
Participate in on-call activities and emergency procedures as needed
Support the care continuum from ICU to discharge or home

What You Need

Valid Pennsylvania state license and DEA certification
Minimum of 3 years of cardiothoracic surgical practice as a Nurse Practitioner
Strong proficiency in vein harvesting, urgent surgery, and post-op care
Excellent communication, critical thinking, and team collaboration skills
Ability to work flexible night shifts and handle high-acuity cases

This assignment is at a reputable hospital with 163 beds, specializing in urgent cardiac procedures, including those transitioned from cath labs.
