Aging Case Aide 2
The Lebanon County Area Agency on Aging is seeking a motivated Aging Case Aide 2 who wants to play an important role in helping older adults access vital services. This position supports a wide range of services for older adults, including information assistance, case support, training activities, and program coordination. As an Aging Case Aide 2, you will perform the following duties:
- Call Assistance: Handle information and referral calls and direct consumers to the proper staff
- Record Management: Maintain consumer files, oversee expungements, and track weekly obituary information for case updates
- Case Support: Assist care managers by completing scheduled telephone calls for ongoing case management
- Program Coordination: Support PA Medi activities including trainings, volunteer recruitment, outreach tasks, and report submission
- Appeal Assistance: Help consumers with filing insurance appeals and completing required forms and packets
- DOM Care Oversight: Conduct visits, monitor providers, and support moves for individuals in the Domiciliary Care program
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- It is essential that applicants for this role do not possess an active insurance license.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as an Aging Case Aide 1; or
- Two years of public contact work, including one year in a human services program; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
