Staff Accountant
Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year.
A bit about usWe are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and experienced Staff Accountant to join our vibrant team in the Accounting and Finance industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciliation, and ledger entries. - Managing all aspects of accounts receivable (A/R) and accounts payable (AP), ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and processed in a timely manner.
- Maintaining and reconciling ledger accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.
- Balancing and reconciling all accounts on a regular basis, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
- Preparing financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
- Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
- Ensuring compliance with all internal processes and relevant regulations, and updating knowledge as needed.
- Collaborating with the accounting team to improve financial procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Performing month-end and year‑end close processes.
- Liaising with external auditors and managing internal controls.
- Participating in strategic data analysis, research, and modeling for senior company leadership.
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master’s degree or CPA certification will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the Accounting and Finance industry.
- Proven experience with accounts receivable (A/R), accounts payable (AP), reconciliation, and ledger entries.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Strong proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with relevant accounting software.
- Excellent numerical skills with an attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills and experience in generating financial reports.
- Excellent time management skills, ability to prioritize, multitask and meet deadlines.
- Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
