The Drywall Estimator is a full-time, on-site role based in Lebanon, TN. This position is responsible for reviewing plans and specifications, quantifying materials and labor, and preparing detailed cost estimates for drywall and related scopes such as metal stud framing, ACT, and blocking. Day-to-day activities include performing takeoffs from drawings, analyzing subcontractor and supplier quotes, preparing and submitting bids, and updating estimates as project information changes.

The Drywall Estimator collaborates with project managers and field supervisors to ensure estimates reflect current production methods, site conditions, and schedule requirements. The role also involves attending pre-bid meetings, maintaining organized estimate files, and supporting value engineering efforts to help clients meet budget and design goals.

• Experience with drywall and metal stud framing estimation, including reading and interpreting architectural and structural drawings.
• Proficiency with digital takeoff and estimating software, as well as Microsoft Excel or similar tools for quantity and cost calculations.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills to evaluate labor, material, and equipment costs accurately.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with project managers, field teams, suppliers, and general contractors.
• Solid organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple bids, deadlines, and changing project priorities.
• Knowledge of commercial construction practices, building codes, and industry standards related to drywall, framing, ACT, and finishes.
• Prior experience in commercial drywall or general construction estimating; experience in Middle Tennessee markets is beneficial.
• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Lebanon, TN on a consistent schedule and visit project sites as needed.
